EPS
Expandable Polystyrene (EPS), commonly known as Styrofoam, is produced by expanding polystyrene. It is manufactured by impregnating approx. 1-mm polystyrene beads with pentane and expanding them. Typically white in color and bead-shaped, EPS is widely used as a shock-absorbing material in packaging and as molded panels for building insulation.
