"Jubging" refers to the activity of picking up litter from the streets while jogging or walking.

Employees of Hyundai Development Company participated in the event called "Let's Clean Up the Han River Together" organized by the Han River Project Headquarters and Resource Volunteer Center of Seoul City on the 22nd. Held in alignment with World Water Day, the event saw the participation of around 20 HDC employees and approximately 1,300 individuals including officials from the Han River Project Headquarters, Resource Volunteer Center, corporations, public institutions, and organizations. Participants walked around Banpo Han River Park and Ichon Han River Park, picking up litter and cleaning the environment through the jubging volunteering activity.

An employee from Hyundai Development Company who took part in this volunteering activity stated, "I was motivated to participate in the NO Plastic Han River Campaign due to my pre-existing interest in carbon reduction, climate crisis, and Han River ecosystem preservation." They further mentioned, "I will actively participate in various corporate social responsibility activities in the future as well."

Hyundai Development Company has been engaging in diverse social contribution activities, starting with delivering groceries to vulnerable elderly individuals in the Gwangju region this year. They have also supported funds and necessities for the victims of the Guryong Village fire in Seoul, actively promoting social responsibility and collaboration with local communities. Through participation in initiatives such as the annual Han River jubging volunteering activity and ongoing collaboration with local governments, Hyundai Development Company plans to continue its region-specific community engagement activities.

The NO Plastic Han River Campaign, organized by the Han River Project Headquarters and Resource Volunteer Center of Seoul City, involves citizens, organizations, and businesses collectively addressing Han River ecosystem conservation, carbon reduction, and climate crisis.
