Hyundai Development Company (represented by Choi Ik-hoon) continues its acts of love and service toward marginalized neighbors and community coexistence in the Gwangju region as the Lunar New Year approaches.

 

On the 17th, Hyundai Development Company delivered 2 tons of rice to vulnerable elderly individuals in the Gwangju area and carried out free meal distribution services at the Gwangju Donggu Senior Citizens Center.

 

Attending the delivery event were Joo Ri-ae, Director of Gwangju Donggu Senior Welfare Complex, Shin Wang-seop, Executive Vice President of Hyundai Development Company, and Kim Ki-ho of Gwangju Hwajeong I-Park Construction Tool Center. Subsequently, the team served free meals to around 350 seniors at the senior welfare complex.

 

Joo Ri-ae, Director of Gwangju Donggu Senior Welfare Complex, expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, "I sincerely thank Hyundai Development Company for its consideration toward marginalized neighbors with a commitment to Gwangju's coexistence and community development."

 

A representative from Hyundai Development Company mentioned, "We conducted a rice donation event and free meal distribution activities to ensure that vulnerable elderly individuals in the Gwangju region can have a healthy and warm Lunar New Year." They also added, "As a company dedicated to coexisting with the local community and fulfilling our social responsibilities, we plan to continue a variety of charitable and social contribution activities."

 

Starting this year, Hyundai Development Company has been actively engaged in diverse social contribution activities for coexistence in the Gwangju region. They began by donating local agricultural products worth 25 million KRW to the Korea Senior Citizens Association Gwangju Metropolitan City Association on the 9th. On the 10th, they supported 119 Safety Foundation by providing life bracelets for vulnerable elderly individuals and various firefighting equipment for firefighting personnel in Gwangju. As the Lunar New Year approaches, they continue to carry out a relay of love and sharing.
