- Resumption of building demolition work for the Haktong 4 District housing redevelopment project

- Reinforcement of safety measures throughout the project, including changes in demolition methods

The demolition work for the Haktong 4 District housing redevelopment project resumed on the 7th. With the resumption of the demolition work that had been halted for 1 year and 5 months, the redevelopment project is expected to conclude the demolition phase in the first half of next year and proceed to the main construction phase.

Hyundai Development Company's primary focus during the demolition work is safety. Additionally, to ensure the safety of workers in a more secure environment and minimize inconvenience to nearby residents, the company plans to use system scaffolding and soundproof panels for buildings that are adjacent to roads, external areas, or have tall structures. Hyundai Development Company has enhanced safety measures for the entire project. Additional signals and safety personnel will be deployed when dismantling buildings adjacent to roads. Moreover, plans include strengthening safety awareness through education, cross-checks of equipment by supervising staff and equipment operators on a daily basis to ensure reinforcement.

On a related note, the Haktong 4 District redevelopment project in Gwangju is in progress at the address 633-3 Haktong.
