Hyundai Development Company appointed Choi Ik-hoon, Deputy CEO, and Kim Ho-eon, Head of Management Planning, as co-CEOs during the extraordinary shareholders' meeting on July 19th.

This personnel decision reflects Hyundai Development Company's commitment to enhancing stability and crisis response capabilities for its ongoing projects, while also establishing an ESG management system as part of its business innovation. It embodies the company's determination to evolve into a sustainable corporation trusted by customers, shareholders, and the public.

Co-CEO Choi Ik-hoon, drawing on his experience in creating numerous new business models within the Hyundai Development Company Group, including HDC Labs, is expected to contribute to restructuring the company's crisis response capabilities, improving performance, and ensuring continuous growth momentum.

Co-CEO Kim Hoe-eon, with his expertise in finance and accounting, having served as the head of the finance team at Hyundai Development Company and subsequently as a professional manager at HDC Group subsidiaries such as HDC Shilla Duty Free and HDC I-Park Mall, is anticipated to provide specialized insights in accounting and financial matters during the decision-making process, leveraging his experience in maintaining financial stability and enhancing subsidiary crisis response capabilities even amid challenging environments like the COVID-19 pandemic.
