On September 24th, HDC Hyundai Development Company (CEO Kwon Soon-Ho) of HDC Group held a declaration ceremony for fair trade and coexistence at the main conference room of HDC Hyundai Development Company with only essential personnel present, including CEO Kwon Soon-Ho and President Kang Han-Shik (Vice-chairman of the Safety and Quality Committee) of Yoonjoo Construction.
After the small scale online event due to COVID-19, the details of the event will be shared with the executives and staff of HDC and all partner companies to make sure the terms of compliance will be thoroughly executed.
HDC Hyundai Development Company declared the fair trade & coexistence proclamation together with its partner companies for the purpose of establishing a sound fair trade culture and strengthening their partnership based on trust.
Accordingly, HDC Hyundai Development Company looks forward to cultivating excellent partner companies and creating innovative value by actively communicating with its partner companies and strengthening its support for them.
In addition, HDC Hyundai Development Company has been consistently carrying out a “win-win management system through safety control” ever since the launch of the Safety and Quality Committee that was established in 1994 consisting of the presidents of the partner companies for the first time in construction industry history.
On September 10th before Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), HDC Hyundai Development Company proceeded with a special financial support implementation regarding construction work and material payment of approx. KRW 13.3 billion. HDC Hyundai Development Company, who has been realizing sustainable management through coexistence with partner companies, has been making early payments of construction costs every holiday season.
Meanwhile, HDC Hyundai Development Company launched a Mutual Growth Team in September. Previously called the Subcontract Management Team, they changed their name and strengthened win-win cooperation and fair trade to achieve sustainable management. After the announcement of the proclamation, HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to immediately add a KRW 10 billion increase to the win-win fund and implement 100% support on the stamp tax.
An official from HDC Hyundai Development Company’s Mutual Growth Team disclosed that they plan to establish a proper fair trade culture to “go farther together than faster alone” and also achieve sustainable management through coexistent operation. Also, as a companion of the partner companies in creating future value, they will expand the field and size of coexistent support.
