Hyundai Development Company is actively pursuing Digital Transformation (DX) from a customer perspective.

- Driving DX (Digital Transformation) to create an environment focused on work process innovation.

- Through DX that transcends business barriers, the way of working will be transformed from the customer's viewpoint.

Hyundai Development Company is actively pursuing Digital Transformation (DX) to innovate its working methods from a customer perspective.

In line with the changing needs of customers and the construction industry, Hyundai Development Company aims to secure sustainable competitiveness by enhancing productivity and efficiency based on Building Information Modeling (BIM). The goal is to fundamentally revolutionize the way work is conducted across all areas, from product planning to customer service, through DX.

Currently, the field where DX has been most applied is in construction. HDC has developed and operates the HEB (HDC Estimate system by BIM) system, which can instantly calculate key material quantities in the construction process based on BIM technology. On-site, processes that reduce construction errors based on BIM data and actively utilize smart construction equipment like 3D scanners have been established, effectively raising the level of quality management through DX. Additionally, by performing pre-construction review tasks based on three-dimensional and quantitative data such as early-stage BIM models and geological maps, HDC minimizes risks during construction and ensures optimal project management.

On July 20th, in order to prevent safety and quality incidents, HDC decided to expand the application of a system that records and manages the entire construction process through video footage. This swift decision-making was possible due to the development and operation of a quality management platform enabled by DX, which allows real-time monitoring and management of key aspects of the construction process.

Hyundai Development Company is also integrating DX into safety management by establishing a digital-based safety management system. By integrating smart safety equipment into the existing safety management system, HDC aims to achieve efficient compliance, enhanced on-site operability, and the expansion of smart safety technology through DX. This approach minimizes gaps in safety management, strengthens disaster prevention, and aims to implement HDC's AI safety monitoring service through deep learning analysis and specialized construction AI algorithms.

Moving forward, Hyundai Development Company's goal is to achieve 100% digital transformation of design, estimation, and quality based on BIM. This aims to secure cost, quality, and product competitiveness while enhancing production efficiency. Simultaneously, HDC aims to strengthen overall project management, not just in construction processes but across all business processes, by expanding the scope of DX to exceed industry boundaries and meet the increasing customer demands for quality and service.

A representative from Hyundai Development Company stated, "While promoting the expansion of digital-based productivity and efficiency, we plan to push for comprehensive work innovation through DX, transcending barriers between sales, design, estimation, outsourcing, and construction. We aim to maximize value chain synergy across different aspects of our operations."
